SPARK! EQUINOX JAM AT SWEET SPOT STUDIO — SEPTEMBER 27 FROM 4-9PM
A Very Specifically Fall gathering to welcome in the season of transition. INDI + friends are putting together a lineup of local musicians and artists for a jam out at Sweet Spot Studio. Come to meet other artists, stay for the sweet vibes.
WPFW JAZZ + JUSTICE FESTIVAL AT MALCOLM X PARK AND JOSEPHINE BUTLER CENTER — SEPTEMBER 27 FROM 12-7PM
Shout out to Capital Bop for the recommendation: later this month, D.C.’s only independent radio station for both jazz and justice at the same time hosts the annual free music + film festival across two locations. I love this event every year.
TOOT TOOT AT DOUBLES — SEPTEMBER 23 AT 6-9PM
Manoushe on Georgia Avenue, what a time. Lebanese bakery pop-up Toot Toot has been winning the hearts and appetites of many on their travels around D.C. and they’re bringing the show to Doubles this month. Friend of F+F Raavi is also pouring Lebansese-made wines for the occasion.

Yes, a new party from yours truly. My #1 forever Baby Alcatraz and I are teaming up for balmy wine time in Bloomingdale. Only come if you’re willing to have Bacchanalia in your heart.
