AUGUST 4 — Lost City Books hosts a conversation about the book industry: what exactly is a book translator’s job? Meet a few of them and learn about that side of the work. Hosted at The LINE Hotel (Details)
AUGUST 5 — Yoga and wellness facilitator (and friend of this pod) Fela Taliaferro hosts a weekly AM morning flow and coffee hang at Civic on Eighth. She told me if you’re looking for easy, soft ways to start your day, this is a place to find yourself. Wednesdays at 8am. (RSVP)
AUGUST 7 — Herb heads rise up for Basil Bonanza, a cooking competition and jubilee for the beloved leaf with City Blossoms. (Details)
AUGUST 8 — It’s Savannah’s first pastry pop-up as SCRAPSS, and it’s a dedication to a blue summer. At Vintage Vintage Vintage from 11am until sellout (Details)
AUGUST 8 — Live from Chocolate City, it’s Pack Party 7. After a long wait, Nayion Perkins and co. are bringing back their DC as hell block party. (Tickets + details)

AUGUST 12 — The Any Day Now wine club meets again with a lineup of wines from South Africa’s cape regions. (Tickets)

AUGUST 20 — It’s yet again Vino Verité, Mount Pleasant’s once a month wine bar. It’s the one year anniversary so I do expect to do something kinda crazy on this. 7pm at Suns Cinema (Details coming)
AUGUST 21 — The clairvoyant in me is telling me it’ll be shake ass o’clock by this time in August, and I’ll be at Baile World at Transmission (Tickets)
