JUNE 5 — It’s First Friday at Art Sound Language, with three vinyl DJs stretching across the depths of punk music (Details)

JUNE 6 — D.C. Mutual Aid Apothecary’s fourth annual Plant Fest, where everyone walks away with free plants to take home at Lederer Gardens in Ward 7 (Details)

JUNE 7 — Petworth Flea, a day of secondhand shopping block party style on the gorgeous Upshur Street NW (Details)

JUNE 8 — Another cinema + wine night with yours truly at Suns Cinema, this time joined by Ward 1 councilmember candidate Aparna Raj to kickoff election month (Details)

JUNE 10 — Visit Hamiltonian Artists on U Street to view a new exhibit in its final days. jET Carter’s ‘Get Home Safe!’ is a singular selection of work by a D.C. native artist (Details)

JUNE 12 — Local urban farm City Blossom’s annual all-ages garden party + fundraiser, this year channeling fairy (Tickets)

JUNE 13 — Men in Jack, a full vinyl night of old jack swing inspired by Chicago and beyond at Suns Cinema. Masterminded by DJ Nikolo (Tickets)

JUNE 14 — A day party that won’t be playing techno for once, Pronto! arrives to Transmission. No phones on the dancefloor (Tickets)

JUNE 20 — Free music for D.C. at the annual Home Rule Festival, brought together by HR Records. The Parks at Walter Reed hosts (Details)

JUNE 20 — D.C. darling Breadscraps does walk-up pastries at Vintage Vintage Vintage in Union Market. The theme is strawberry everything, luscious vibes (Details coming)

JUNE 22 — This Monday (and every Monday!) is open decks at Showtime, hosted by vinyl veteran Baby Alcatraz.

JUNE 23 — Bean zine bean zine. Kris Martins hosts a launch party for the third volume of her zine, Le Legume, with the team at Bar Providencia slinging cocktails. 5-7PM (Details)

JUNE 24 — Wellness therapist Fela of A Seat on the Mat starts a biweekly yoga + coffee meet up at the new Civic on Eighth (Details)

JUNE 26 — Local food girl Rosh hosts another edition of her delicious supper club. It’s intentional and designed for women between late 20s-30s to connect and restore. (Find her for details)
